Courtney Stodden: Chrissy Teigen never reached out to apologize

Courtney Stodden says Chrissy Teigen still hasn’t directly apologized for her past online bullying.

The 26-year-old — who in May revealed cruel old social media messages from Teigen, leading to a public mea culpa from the model — said Teigen has not reached out to them or their team since then.

“I haven’t received anything from her. I don’t know what she’s talking about,” Stodden told TMZ at a PETA event on Wednesday. “I don’t know, she’s never reached out to my team. I never got any emails, anything.”

Stodden — who came out as non-binary in April and uses they/them pronouns — then offered some advice to Teigen, who recently lamented about being part of the “cancel club” in the wake of her online bullying scandal.

“I have a message for her, and I think that continuing to gripe about ‘cancel club’ or whatever that is, I think step out, take your part and maybe do something with charities,” Stodden told TMZ. “Step out. Do something anti-bullying if she really means what she says. Get out. Do something. And it really helps the spirit, it does.”

A rep for Teigen did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

Back in May, Stodden came forward with claims that the Sports Illustrated model had told them to kill themself years ago — around the time Stodden got famous at age 16 for marrying a then-51-year-old Doug Hutchison.

Teigen, 35, immediately put out a public apology, saying, “I’m ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that…is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”

The cookbook author also said that she reached out to Stodden directly, tweeting, “I have tried to connect with Courtney privately but since I publicly fueled all this, I want to also publicly apologize. I’m so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am.”

But Stodden first refuted her claim in May, saying, “I accept her apology and forgive her but the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. In fact, she blocked me on Twitter.”

Teigen’s career was quickly affected after the bullying accusations came to light, and she ended up leaving the Netflix show “Never Have I Ever” and not inking a proposed cookware deal with Bloomingdale’s.
