Shares of IBM IBM, -0.38% and UnitedHealth UNH, -2.35% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.01% was most recently trading 103 points lower (-0.3%). IBM’s shares have fallen $3.01 (2.2%) while those of UnitedHealth have fallen $9.93, or 2.0%, combining for a roughly 85-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Boeing BA, +1.97%, Merck MRK, +1.86%, and Goldman Sachs GS, +0.15%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.59-point swing.
