A G&M Oil Food Mart and Chevron gas station in South Pasadena sold a winning Powerball ticket this week, according to the state lottery.

The ticket, sold inside the food mart on Wednesday, Jan. 5, had five numbers — but not the Powerball number — and was worth $1,303,479.

Two tickets with all six numbers were sold in convenience stores in Sacramento and Wisconsin. Those players can choose to receive the $316.3 million jackpot in 30 graduated payments over 29 years or as a lump sum of $225.1 million.

The winning numbers were 6, 14, 25, 33, 46 and the Powerball number was 17.

A clerk working at the food mart, 1400 Mission St., who did not want to give her full name, said on Thursday that she did not yet know the identity of the person holding the winning ticket.

There were 14 tickets with five numbers. Two paid out $2 million because the players used the Power Play option. In that case, for an extra $1 per play, a ticket with five numbers but missing the Powerball number is worth $2 million.

The $632.6 million jackpot was seventh largest in the 29-year history of Powerball and 11th largest in U.S. lottery history.
